For use at bedtime for 3 to 7 days in a row and use a panty-liner or pad to protect clothes.
For recurring infections, insert a suppository at bedtime for 14 consecutive days.
For preventative measures for women, insert a suppository once or twice a week for 3-4 months or as needed. Some women also use as a preventative measure after a menstrual cycle.
Follow your doctor's dosing instructions.
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and thoroughly dry hands to avoid suppository from melting in your hands.
- Carefully remove the suppository from the container by holding between thumb and index finger or place into the applicator.
- Get into a comfortable position, stand or lie down with your legs spread slightly with your knees bent.
- Use your fingers to insert the suppository into your vagina or insert the applicator by the plunger end and gently slide it into your vagina as far as it will comfortably go.
- When the applicator is fully inserted into your vagina, hold the barrel of the applicator with one hand and push the plunger in all the way with your other hand to comfortably place the suppository into your vagina, near the cervix.
- Remove both the plunger and the barrel of the applicator from your vagina.
- Applicator is reusable and to reuse; disconnect applicator after each use, wash thoroughly with warm water and soap, allow to air dry before reconnecting and reusing.
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
